Mosaic Processing

Mosaic Processing is a free online tool that can be used to mosaic uploaded images and photos on the site. Detailed settings such as "mosaic strength", "area specification", and "mosaic pattern" are possible.
How to Use
- Upload an "image".
- Set the "Mosaic Strength" and "Mosaic Pattern".
- Select a mode: "Partial Mode" or "Full Mode".
- In "Partial Mode", select the area and click the "Apply Mosaic" button.
- In "Full Mode", simply click the "Apply Mosaic" button.
- You can now "Download" the image.
How to Use the Image Mosaic Tool
1. Uploading an Image
Selecting an Image
There are two ways to upload an image to the tool:
- Drag & Drop: Drag an image file and drop it onto the upload area.
- Click to Select: Click on the text that says "Drag & drop an image or click to select" to open the file dialog and choose an image.
After Loading the Image:
Once uploaded, your selected image will appear on the canvas. All tool buttons will become active, allowing you to begin editing.
2. Adjusting Mosaic Strength
Mosaic Strength:
Use the "Mosaic Strength" slider to change the size of the mosaic pixels. Moving the slider changes the coarseness of the mosaic effect.
- Slide right to increase pixel size, making the image more blurred.
- Slide left to decrease pixel size, preserving more detail.
3. Selecting Mosaic Pattern
Choosing a Pattern:
The tool offers several mosaic patterns to choose from, including 'Pixel', 'Noise', 'Diagonal', 'Grid', and 'Square'. Each option creates a different visual effect.
4. Mode Selection
Partial Mode:
In "Partial Mode", you can apply mosaic to specific areas. Drag on the image to select your desired area - only the selected portion will be mosaicked.
Full Mode:
In "Full Mode", the mosaic effect is applied to the entire image at once without area selection.
5. Applying and Removing Mosaic
Apply Mosaic:
Click the "Apply Mosaic" button to apply the effect to your selected area or the entire image. You can adjust settings and reapply as needed.
Remove Mosaic:
Click "Remove Mosaic" to revert the image to its original state, removing all mosaic effects.
6. Viewing Original and Mosaicked Images
View Original:
Click "View Original" to see the unedited image. Click "View Mosaicked" to return to the edited version.
View Mosaicked:
This button lets you toggle back to see the image with mosaic effects applied.
7. Downloading the Image
Download Image:
Click "Download Image" to save your mosaicked image. The downloaded file won't include any selection borders or editing interfaces.
8. Reset Button
Reset:
Click "Reset" to return the tool to its initial state, clearing all edits and uploaded images.
9. Mobile Support
Mobile Operation:
The tool supports touchscreen devices. Use your finger to select mosaic areas - touch and drag to define your selection area.
